These Terms & Conditions govern the use of tutoring services provided by Ruchi Mali. By booking a lesson, you agree to the terms below.
Lessons are conducted online, primarily via Google Meet, and are available in 60- or 90-minute durations. Lesson content is tailored to the student's level, goals and curriculum, and may be adjusted as the student progresses.
Lessons are booked in advance and payment is processed securely through the external payment provider selected at the time of booking. Full payment (or an agreed deposit) is required to confirm a booking unless otherwise agreed.
Please provide as much advance notice as possible if a lesson needs to be rescheduled or cancelled. [Specify your notice period, e.g. "at least 24 hours' notice"], to avoid forfeiting the lesson or being charged. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect future bookings.
Students are expected to attend lessons on time, with a stable internet connection and any required materials ready. Parents/guardians of minor students are responsible for ensuring appropriate supervision and access to the required devices and platforms.
Lessons are conducted in a respectful, professional manner. Abusive, disruptive or inappropriate behaviour from a student or parent may result in the lesson being ended permanantly or future bookings being declined.
Lesson materials, notes and exercises created and shared during tutoring remain the intellectual property of Ruchi Mali and are provided for the student's personal educational use only. They may not be redistributed, resold or published without permission.
While every lesson is planned to support the student's understanding and progress, specific exam results, grades or outcomes cannot be guaranteed, as these depend on multiple factors beyond the tutor's control.
Tutoring is provided on a reasonable-effort basis. Liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of these services is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of tutoring services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
